Our Bilingual Programme

Creative Nest Early Childhood Center shares the research based, international belief that early childhood is a vital period
in children’s learning and development. We are committed to ensuring children experience high quality teaching and learning
on all developmental areas. Creative Nest emphasizes and promotes hands-on learning experiences, child-initiated learning and teacher-led learning based on children’s interests. In addition, we recognize the importance and significance of incorporating
Arabic Language and Islamic values and knowledge with an emphasis on respecting and promoting children’s cultural
heritage and incorporating these values within our practice, including working in positive partnership with families.

When children are taught of the social and moral way of living, they are given the tools to manage their impulses in an organized manner that best suits the needs of the

public itself. Islamic and Arabic teachings at Creative Nest are more than just lessons we offer our children. They’re intertwined within our essence, our identity and our

mission and vision. We teach Arabic to both native and non-native speakers encouraging a love for the United Arab Emirates mother tongue.

Creative Nest is a fully bilingual school

Our children are exposed to English and Arabic in equal amounts throughout their day with
two homeroom teachers. In addition, our Arabic curriculum is enhanced with links and themes about the UAE and the Arabic Heritage and Culture. Our proactive Arabic department uses themes that arise and special events (such as EXPO or HOPE mission or COP28) and holidays (such as
Eid al Adha and National Day) to develop and broaden the range of learning experiences.
Lastly, we strive to instill a love for Islam and Arabic in children by infusing the teachings
in play and modelling the themes in our everyday interactions with the children.

Creative Nest encourages early bilingualism and a love of Arabic language to have lasting positive impacts on educational achievements and personal development. Arabic and Islamic play-based lessons help develop children who empathic, cultured and creative.
